Arts Academy Day 1
For those of you that don't know, our church does a special week-long summer program for children every year called Arts Academy. This year we are doing a toddler group and although James it technically not a toddler yet (though he's trying really hard!) he got to come because I'm one of the helpers. This year the theme is about God loving everyone in the whole world and so we're doing art and music from around the world. Today the little ones made Japanese fans and did Chinese Tangram puzzle art. They also made Chinese gongs and danced to Asian music. And they made these fun hats for when they go outside in the sun. It was a crazy, chaotic morning but it was fun and James is taking a REALLY long nap this afternoon so I think we tired him out and is why I'm putting a few pictures up on the blog. Let's hope we survive the rest of the week!
