An eventful morning ...

Well, we've had an eventful morning. This photo was taken first thing before it all happened! We had to take my car in to the garage this morning to have the rear windows replaced because there was a safety recall. Because James' car seat is in my car we had to take it out and put it in Dan's - which we did when we got to the garage. As Dan's car only has 2 doors it was a right hassle getting it in. When we got home Dan decided to look at the manual to see if he was missing something and went back to the car to try and put it in better. He came back in a few minutes later and said "Well, the good news is that I think the car seat is in properly ... the bad news is that I think I've broken my finger!" ... His 'ring' finger on the right hand all looked a bit floppy but he said it wasn't hurting too much so we put on an ice pack and took him to the doctor's...
