We're moving ... and so is the blog!

Since I just ran out of space on this blog and since we'll be moving back to England in less than 3 weeks ... Our new blog site is called thepeacockfamilyengland

Here is our new blog URL:

http://thepeacockfamilyengland.blogspot.com

Please change it in your favourites if you want to keep up with photos of James and Rebekah!

Hand update

For those of you who haven't heard we had a bit of an incident with James on Saturday morning. He managed to grab a cup of boiling hot tea and so we took him to the ER. He has second degree burns on his right hand and a little bit on his chest.
We took him to the doctor yesterday for a follow-up appointment and they said that although the blisters look really bad right now they are actually looking good for a full and complete recovery. We have special burn cream to put on and need to change the bandage every day. We go back in one week. Although he gets upset when we change his "special glove" (as he calls it) it doesn't seem to bother him at all when the bandage is on.
It's not slowing him down or stopping him from doing anything - in fact I think he's teaching himself to be ambidextrous! Stickers are a bit tricky but he does them anyway! We have to be really careful that it doesn't get infected so we're keeping him inside (away from the dirt!) for a few days.
I've just exceeded my photo quota on the blog so no photos right now - hopefully will sort this out in the next day or two!

A trip to the local park

"Ok, Rebekah I'm going to play ... see you later!!!"

"Hey, where did everyone go?!!"

"And why do I have to be strapped in?!"

James looks so big on the swing these days!

James seems to enjoy climbing most at the moment

Apparently being pushed to and from the park is ver tiring ... (never mind Mummy did all the pushing!}

Rebekah enjoying some tummy time!

"[YAWWWWWN] This is hard work ..."

Tummy Time is EXHAUSTING ...

Rebekah fell asleep after a while and slept for some time ...
she definitely likes to be on her tummy.

Teeny tiny feet!

Being soothed by the sounds of the rain forest ...

The other day I put Rebekah in James' crib for a minute while I did something in his room. She was crying when I put her down so James put his hands through the bars of the crib and turned on the rain forest musical thing for her! It was really sweet and kind of funny because he hasn't used that himself for months and months and it's the first time I've seen him turn it on for ages. It calmed her down though - what a great big brother!

Just like her brother ...

She looks so much like James as a baby in this picture - I had to double-check it was really Rebekah!

What a cool dude ...
