Wearing jeans for the fiirst time

Although Rebekah always looks pretty in her dresses I think she looked really stylish in her jeans too. They're still a bit too big really but I took advantage of a slightly cooler morning and dressed her in them and the really pretty pink cardigan Grandma had made for her!

Double trouble in the double strolelr!

Today I took James and Rebekah out for a walk to the Hub in the double stroller for the first time. Although Rebekah is crying in this photo she soon fell asleep. It seemed to work out ok on the wide American sidewalks ... not sure how easy it will be to negotiate on narrow, wiggly English pavements though! ;0)

Rebekah woke up when we were walking back and seemed to enjoy the ride. It's going to be nice to get out and about with both of them. Thank you, Caryn for giving us the doube-stroller! ;0)

Playing with Kelli and Alyce

Last night we took our A/C unit over to our friend from church Christy's apartment and she invited us for a BBQ. The Joel family were there too and so we had a fun evening with everyone. Alyce has grown so much and was crawling all over the place. She was really interested in Rebekah and I managed to get this sweet photo of the two of them!

James had great fun rolling around on the grass with Kelli!

Happy Birthday, Josh!

James was invited to his friend, Josh's 3rd birthday party yesterday. It had a golf theme and James had lots of fun playing and eating with his friends. Josh lives just down the street and so we didn't have to go far! Thanks for inviting us, Josh - we had a great time!
Sitting in the shade eating pizza (James didn't stop eating the whole time we were at the party!)
From left to right: James, Max, Erin, Jasmin, Cynthia, Christopher and another little girl who we didn't know!

A cute picture of James and Max from behind!

James had a go on the bounce house/castle (once he finally climbed up!) but kept saying it was "Hot! Hot!" even though it really wasn't ...I think he must have sensitive feet like his Mummy!

James had fun playing in the cardboard castle.

Shooting some hoops ...

ANOTHER passport!

Move over Jason Bourne of The Bourne Identity movies ... Rebekah has almost as many passports as he does - and she's not even a spy! Her British passport arrived yesterday [see below] and her American one arrived today.
By the way, do you like the attitude in this photo?!

This one even has a scary picture of a bird inside!

Another attempt at a brother/sister photo ...

Big brother makes his little sister smile!

Rebekah always looks so serious but this morning she smiled for Daddy and today when we were doing this photo shoot James made her smile and I just managed to capture it in a picture! He was touching her nose and I was just telling him to be gentle when Rebekah broke into a great big grin! It was definitely a reactionary smile rather than just gas/wind!

James wanted to take a photo of Rebekah so I let him ... He already seems to know about the "Golden Point" of compostion!! ;0)

Princess Rebekah sitting on her throne?

James let Rebekah sit in his "Towmater" chair today.
She actually seemed to really like it - she definitely likes to see what's going on!

"Oyyy! Hands off my teddy bear!!!"
I don't think she was really waving her fist at James ... she just really likes this teddy bear that Auntie Caroline sent for her.

"Ewwwwwww!! I don't want to be kissed by a boy!!!"
When James gives someone a *kiss* he doesn't actually use his lips ... he just leans in to allow the other person to do the kissing bit!! Rebekah doesn't look too happy about it in this photo ...

The passport arrived!

I know Rebekah doesn't look too happy in these photos but we are VERY happy that her British passport arrived yesterday!! This means we can take her with us when we move back to England in a month ... ;0)

Alligator/Car garage ...

The other day when Max came to play we built the 3D aligator puzzle. Later that day James decided to use it as a car garage instead! It was really funny watching him drive all the cars into their own parking space. You can really see his imagination starting to develop more these days.

Nap time at the Peacock house ...

James fell asleep on the floor while I was feeding Rebekah today ...

Bumbo seat!

As Rebekah seems to like sitting up we got one of these "Bumbo" seats (bit of an impulse buy on Mummy's part ...). She's still a bit little to be in it for very long but she seemed to quite like it and sat there quite happily for a while. Oh, and I forgot to blog that she had her 1 month check-up at the doctor's on Friday. She's doing fine. She now weighs 10 lbs 2 oz (well as of Friday!) and is 22.5 inches long. She's finally starting to fit into some of her big brother's old clothes!!!

Girlroy Gardens with Grandma and Grandad

Saturday was Grandma and Grandad's last full day with us and so we decided to go to Gilroy Gardens - somewhere none of us have been before. It was a fun day - even though you couldn't escape the loud music blaring from speakers hidden everywhere (including the bathroom!!!).

Waiting for the train ride. What a cute little grin!

Finally on the train!

There was lots to look at from the train!

This was his little face as we went through the dark tunnel!

This was the first ride that James has been on all on his own and we weren't sure whether he'd like it ... but as you can see - he did! He kept pointing at the seat behind him and we think it was because he wanted to switch seats!

On the car ride. You could turn the steering wheel but James kept saying "it's hot! it's hot!"

Walking behind the waterfall - you got surprisingly wet but it was very refreshing!
