Unsuccessful attempt at a sibling photo ...

I tried to get a photo of James and Rebekah together today but this was the best I got ... James was not in a very co-operative mood (maybe because he was wearing his Dennis The Menace t-shirt that Grandma and Grandad sent for him ...) and I just wasn't quick enough!

First sponge bath!

We finally got round to giving Rebekah her first sponge bath. Daddy was at work and so Nanny helped out. She seemed to find washing part quite relaxing - she almost looked like she was at a day spa!

As predicted she wasn't too keen on having her hair washed but that was the only time she cried.

We survived!!

A trip to Valleyfair Mall

On Thursday we went to Valleyfair Mall so that Nanny could look for an outfit for Uncle Mark and Auntie Lisa's wedding (she was very successful!!) and for Rebekah to get passport photos taken. Of course we had to start with coffee ...

James had a great time playing in the children's area while Rebekah got her passport photos done. He even made a friend or two!

Rebekah may only be a week and a half old but she already has a wardrobe to rival Mummy's! Michael Albanese (a friend from church and one of James' buddies!) bought this outfit for her - he said his favourite thing to do is shop in Baby Gap!

James' new favourite game ...

James has found a new game to play ... he loves putting on Mummy and Daddy's shoes and tries to walk around in them! He thinks it's really funny and has spent alot of time over the last 2 or 3 days playing this game.

Auntie Lin bought James a little gardening set and so yesterday afternoon they went outside to do some digging. It was impossible getting a photo of all 3 looking at the camera!!!

Girls Shopping Trip!

Yesterday Mummy and Rebekah had their first girls shopping trip to the Mall! We went to get some outfits that will fit right now!! Here she is already to go! She slept through it all but hopefully it was the first of many shoppping trips! ;0)

Rebekah's first social visit!

Yesterday afternoon Bruce and Pat invited us over to meet Rebekah and to enjoy some time in their cool backyard (it has been VERY HOT here for the last few days.) Erin and Max were there too and so James had a great time playing with Max in the paddling pool and with puzzles. Bruce and Pat bought the puzzle (in the top picture) for James. He loves it!

They had a great time playing in the pool and with the sprinkler! They played so well together - it was really sweet to watch them.

Welcome Rebekah Zoe Peacock!

Rebekah Zoe Peacock was born on 17th June at 12:48pm. She weighed in at 8lbs8oz and was 20.25 inches long. She is absolutely beautiful! We came home from the hospital yesterday and we're now just adjusting to life as a family of 4. ;0)
