Memorial Day BBQ

We had a BBQ on Memorial Day and we managed to get this group photo! It's hard to believe that just over 7 years ago when we arrived in America the only kid (not counting Don ... just kidding!) was Trevor - and he was still inside Amy's tummy!

Playing with Amy ... or sucking up to his future mother-in-law??? (We decided James and Hayley will get married in Disneyworld after their long distance engagement ...)

Some serious Wii playing going on ...

Hot dog time!

Sharing cake with Daddy ...

The kids had a great time playing outside - and getting as grubby as possible!

Alyce.

Hayley

Keagan.

It has been a few months ...

On Sunday afternoon we went back to Ardenwood Farm. This time with Katie, Laurie and Diane. We had a really nice afternoon!

With Katie, Diane and Laurie

With Katie and Laurie's Mommy!

Playing with the water pump.

Mum and Mom!

Looking at the animals

James has been rubbing my tummy alot and saying "hello baby!" or "where's baby?" ... I think maybe he is getting it ...

Katie's "Peacock Pictures"

See how much my belly is sticking out, Mum?!?

Exploring with Laurie.

Playing hide and seek!

Laurie decided to try out the pushchair in an attempt to convince James to ge back in it! We had a great afternoon - thanks Holtog ladies!!!

Playing with Auntie Donna

Last week Auntie Donna bought lunch over for us. James had a great time reading books and playing catch!

Playing with Rohan

A few weeks ago we went to play with Joey and Rohan and to meet their new little brother, Johnathan. Joey had a swimming lesson so Rohan and James played together. They looked really cute in the wagon together (even if James looks a bit podgy!). We went and played there again today but I forgot to take my camera.

Another trip to the Jungle ...

Today we went to the Jungle in San Jose again with his friends Max and Co.
As you can see from the photos James had a great time!

The boys loved the ball pit so much. This is James with Christopher and Josh. I think he enjoyed it almost as much at the paddling pool with Aiden and Keagan the other day!

I love this action shot of James taking a flying leap into the ball pit. He watched Josh do this and it didn't take him long to have a go by leaping off the steps!

When it started to get a bit crazy inside with the arrival of a big group of older kids we took the little ones outside and they played in the sand pit area for ages. I don't think I quite got all the kids in any one photo but there's James, Max, Josh, Christopher, Jasmine and Eddy. It was really sweet to watch them play together - they were all so busy.

After all that playing it was time to have a rest and share some snacks!

There's a House inside my Mummy!

[I could've sworn I posted this photo the other day ... but it's not showing up ... weird - well, here it is again!]

A friend of mine sent this for James last week from her son who's also called James. It's an absolutely brilliant book called "There's a house inside my Mummy" and it's all about a new baby arriving. James absolutely loves it (thank goodness!) and so we've been reading it alot over the last few days. Today he rubbed my tummy and said "I love you baby!" ... The book talks about how the little boy and the mummy like to cuddle and he tells the baby he loves him through "the tummy telephone"! Still don't think he really gets it but it was really sweet. Thanks so much, Catherine and James!

Testosterone Time Again!

Yesterday we finally made it over to Livermore to play with Aiden, Keagan, Ethan and Andrew. It's the first time we've got to go for a while and we had a really brilliant day. James has so much fun exploring and playing with his buddys. We're going to miss them!!!

Playing with the big boys in the pool while the little guys had their naps. James had so much fun. He thought it was hilarious when he slipped over or when the big boys jumped in and made a big splash.

Feeding Chewie a dog biscuit ... There's really no hope for me is there?!? James likes dogs almost as much as his Daddy ...

I guess it's good that James can feel so relaxed and at home ...
Here he is kicking back, eating Jelly Bean's while the others were napping or playing.

Playing trains with Keagan ... ok, I admit I stole the first photo from Devon's blog (iforgott.blogspot.com) .... mine didn't come out anywhere near as good!

Cutie-pie Keagan!

We were about to go home when the boys decided it was time for the pool again. They were having so much fun! (Andrew was still napping)
